You all know my OBSESSION with my hair extensions! Another great updated blog post I’ve written is this one on the pros + cons of hair extensions! To some this may sound dramatic but it’s true: I don’t know how I lived before I had them in. Hair extensions are such a game changer when it comes to spending less time getting ready everyday AND having full, voluminous, thick, long, hair 24/7. As you can tell I’m very obsessed with my hair extensions… that was until quarantine hit in 2020!Things got very interesting, very quickly when I couldn’t get into to the salon to get my hair done or extension maintenance taken care of (thanks mom for cutting out my tangled hair extensions lol). I didn’t know what to do and almost felt “bald” without them in, until I found my new favorite BFB clip in hair extensions that I’ve been wearing everyday for the past 6 months…
BFB hair extensions are temporary clip-in extensions and fill-ins that allow you to easily add thickness, length and confidence to your day! They come in SO many different shades, lengths, etc. Here is what I use and wear daily:

I am going to answer the most FAQ with my new hair extension, and also want you to let you know a pro tip: I recommend you start by ordering aFREE color match kit on their site so you know your perfect shade before ordering your hair extensions. It’s super easy to determine your color, and a GREAT idea, since I don’t think returns are allowed once you open your package!
Can you see these and is it obvious that they’re clip in extensions versus having permanent extensions?
BFB Hair is actually seamless extensions that are held together by a silicone adhesive that binds the hair and the clip together. They are 50% thinner at the top of each extension, which allows them to lay flatter on your head for a more natural look. Also, they are more durable and less susceptible to shedding over time.
Are BFB Hair extensions real hair?!
Yes, BFB Hair is 100% human remy hair.
Can I cut my BFB Hair extensions!?
Yes, in fact, I did it one day on my own! I probably should’ve got it cut by a professional, but I recommend you start with small amounts and work your way up to the perfect length for you. I regret cutting more than 1-2 inches off, but still love the longer length.
Can I curl, straighten, wash my extensions?
ABSOLUTELY! I curl them and straighten them too. They are the best quality so the curls hold pretty well, and I rarely have to touch it up. I’ve owned mine for about 6 months now and have yet to wash them which is great (and low maintenance)!
How often do you need to buy new BFB Hair extensions?
Like I said, I’ve had mine for about 6 months now and they’re in perfect condition. I probably won’t replace them for another 6-12 months! On their website, they claim the life span of your extensions will be reflected by how often you wear them, as well as how they are cared for (don’t sleep in them lol). They recommend replacing your extensions every 6ish months.
Can you style your hair with these hair extensions in?
100%. They add so much volume and length to fun, thick braids. I also loving curling my hair for a nice voluminous wave. You can also do a ponytail, bun, whatever you’d like!
How long do they take to clip in every day?
Literally less than 3 minutes. Once you get the order down, and the routine, they’re super easy and quick!
Do they hurt your head while you wear them all day?
Not really! If you’re not used to hair extensions, it may take a little time to get used to the weight of them, other than that, you should be good!
