When Do RAC Passengers Get Berths?

RAC passengers may be assigned a vacant berth under three circ*mstances:

  1. If a ticket is canceled at the last moment.
  2. If some VIP quotas or other reserved quotas are still available.
  3. If any passenger who booked a ticket doesn’t show up for the journey.

Cancellation Charges for RAC Reservations
