Webmail includes contact lists to help you manage your contacts' email addresses. You can use the Contacts feature to add email contacts to your contact list, manage information about your email contacts and share contact information as needed.

Learn how to create, edit, delete and manage your email contacts with the useful tips below. We have also included tips for printing your contact information.

How to view your contacts

To view a list of your contacts:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. Selecta contact group to view a list of contacts in that group.
  5. Selecta contact to view detailed information.

How to add an email contact

To create a contact:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. Click Add new contact.
  5. Enterdetails for your new contact.
  6. To add an image, click the avatar icon and choose an image file.
  7. Click Save.

How to edit a contact

To edit a contact card in your contact list:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. In your contact list, select the contact you want to edit.
  5. ClickEditin the toolbar.
  6. Update the information on the contact card.
  7. ClickSavein the toolbar.

How to delete a contact

To delete a contact from your contacts list:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. In your contact list, select the contact you want to edit.
  5. ClickDeletein the toolbar.

The contact will be moved into your trash folder. To delete multiple contacts, select check boxes next to contact names in Step 4.

How to search for a contact

There are two ways to search for a Webmail contact: alphabetical filtering and the search bar. You will need to know your contact's last name.

To use alphabetical filtering:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. Click a letter in the alphabet that runs across the top of your contact list.

The contact list will refresh, displaying onlycontactswho have last names beginning with that letter.

Using the search bar:

  1. Locate the search bar at the top of the Webmail window.
  2. In the search bar, click the down arrow and select Contacts.
  3. Enter the last name of your contact in the search bar.
  4. Press the Enter key on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass icon.

How to create a contact group

You can create contact groups so that you can email multiple people in one email.To create a contact group:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. Expand theAdd New Contactdropdown list and selectContact Group.
  5. Enter a group name.
  6. On the right, select a contact you want to add to your group.
  7. Click the upperAddbutton to add the contact to the group.
  8. Click theAdd Allbutton to add all contacts to the group.
  9. Or enter new email addresses in the text box and click the lowerAddbutton.
  10. ClickSave.

How to send email to a contact

To send an email to a contact in your saved contact list:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. ClickNew Message.
  5. In theNew Messagewindow, clickTo:, select an email address.
  6. Select a contact on the left side of the window.
  7. ClickTo,CC, orBCCto add the addresses to your recipient list on the right.
  8. ClickOK.
  9. Write your email and clickSend.

How to share a contact

You can share a contact's information to someone via email as a .vcf file. To do this:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. In your contact list, select the contact you want to share.
  5. ClickActionsand selectForward Contact.
  6. Write your email and clickSend.

How to print your contacts

To print contact information:

  1. Go tohttps://webmail.shaw.ca
  2. Log in to Webmail with your username and password.
  3. ClickContactsat the top of the page.
  4. In your contact list, select the contact you want to share.
  5. Click the printer icon in the toolbar and clickPrintselected contact(s).
  6. Choose your printing preferences (which will vary based on your browser).

In Step 4 above, you could also select a contact group from the contact list, to print all of the contacts in that group.
